How do I automate "where is my order?" questions?
Short answer: Connect your helpdesk or chat to your shop or order system, so AI can recognise an order-status question, look up the real order and reply with its status and tracking link. Anything it cannot find, late orders and upset customers go to a person. Many helpdesks sell this built in; agencies build it when order data sits elsewhere.
How it usually works
- The AI spots the question and asks for an order number or email if needed.
- A fixed step looks the order up in Shopify, your shop system or the courier.
- The AI writes the reply from that data only, never from memory.
- Late, missing or unclear orders are handed to a person with the details attached.
Buy or build?
